About our Moroccan rugs

Decorating your home is an art, a play of aesthetics that transforms a space into a warm, inviting haven. At the center of this transformation often lies a piece of artisanal craftsmanship that reflects your personality and style - a modern rug. These rugs are more than just floor coverings; they are the exp…

The Tribe Behind Modern Rugs

Modern rugs are a perfect blend of traditional artistry and contemporary design. Most modern rugs are created by tribes of weavers who have passed their knowledge and skills down from generation to generation. These tribes, originating from regions with rich textile history like Morocco, maintain the traditional essence in their creations while adapting to contemporary styles and trends.

At Beni Souk, we work closely with these tribes, celebrating their unique craftsmanship and helping preserve the art of rug-making for the future generations.

Defining Your Style With Modern Rugs

The beauty of a modern rug lies in its versatility. They come in a wide array of designs, ranging from minimalistic patterns to intricate geometric designs. Whether you lean towards a Scandinavian, Bohemian, or Mid-century modern style, you'll find a rug that fits perfectly into your interior design narrative. With the right modern rug, you can make a bold statement or create a soothing backdrop to your room.

How To Match Modern Rugs With Your Decor

Matching a modern rug with your décor is a creative process that can drastically elevate the aesthetics of your space. If your room features muted color schemes and minimalist furniture, a bright, patterned rug can serve as a delightful contrast. On the other hand, if your space is filled with vibrant colors and bold patterns, a more neutral, subtly-designed rug can provide balance.

When considering the rug shape, round rugs work great in smaller rooms or areas with round furniture, while rectangular rugs can help define larger spaces or seating areas.

Material Matters

Modern rugs are made from various materials, each offering unique textures and appearances. Commonly used materials include wool, cotton, jute, and synthetic fibers. Wool is a popular choice due to its durability, softness, and natural stain resistance. Cotton rugs, on the other hand, are lightweight, easy to clean, and often more affordable.

At Beni Souk, we focus on sustainable and ethically sourced materials, ensuring our rugs not only beautify your home but also respect our planet.

The Artisan Touch

Every modern rug at Beni Souk carries the mark of an artisan, someone who spent countless hours intertwining threads to create a masterpiece. Our artisans imbue each rug with a distinct personality that reflects their creative vision. Their expert touch ensures the durability of the rug and the vibrancy of its patterns and colors.

Sizes For Every Space

Whether you are looking to adorn a compact apartment or a sprawling mansion, we have modern rugs in various sizes to suit your needs. From small rugs that add a pop of color to a cozy corner to larger ones that can define an entire room, our collection ensures you find the perfect fit.

Colors That Speak To You

From earthy neutrals to vibrant jewel tones, our modern rug collection spans across a diverse color palette. Choose a color scheme that complements your décor or opt for a contrasting hue to create a striking focal point.

Beni Souk is the perfect destination to buy your modern rug. We curate a wide range of designs, crafted by skilled artisans using high-quality, sustainable materials.
