Fair Trade products are made by artisan cooperatives or in factories certified or verified by a fair trade organization, such as Fair Trade Federation, the World Fair Trade Organization, GOTS Certified, or Fair Trade Certified. These standards ensure that the makers and artisans employed to make these products are paid a living wage and are provided safe and healthy working conditions.
