One fleece, one place.
High Atlas fleece that winters at altitude, hand-spun, and either left in its natural tone or taken to a quiet dye. Nothing else goes into the pile.
No sketch, no repeat. The weaver draws as she goes, knot by knot. High Atlas wool, your size.

The customer service was great, particularly the regular updates. They were super important because the process can be quite long. The rug is utterly gorgeous.

The pile flattens underfoot for the first months, then springs back fuller. Vacuum gently, no chemicals.

Technical sheet
Reference FENOUN · azilal. Every figure was taken from this design, not from a range.
A new hand-knotted pile releases loose fibre for two to three months. That is cut wool finding its way out, not the rug coming apart. Vacuum without a beater bar and it settles.
Weeks folded in transit concentrate the lanolin. Air it flat for two or three days and it goes. Every rug is washed and sun-dried in Ouarzazate before it ships, which is why it is faint to begin with. If a rug smells of chemicals, it is not one of ours.
They go for wool left undisturbed under furniture, not for a rug you walk on. Vacuum both sides twice a year, rotate it, and lift it when the room moves. We treat nothing with insecticide. Use is the defence.
Every dyed lot is rinsed in Ouarzazate until the water runs clear, before the rug leaves. Blot a spill from the edge in, and never soak it.
